Worship & Liturgy
At the heart of our community is reverent and accessible worship centered on the Holy Eucharist. We use the historic liturgy of the Anglican tradition, drawing from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer and the Revised Common Lectionary.
This form of worship connects our community with the rich spiritual heritage of the Church while remaining welcoming to those who may be new to liturgical worship. Sunday Mass is live streamed on Facebook so that all may join.

Pastoral Care
We offer one-on-one pastoral visits, accompaniment to local services, short-term assistance referrals, and trauma-informed listening. The Sacraments of Reconciliation and Anointing of the Sick are available during office hours and by appointment.
For those who are homebound or hospitalized, pastoral visits can be arranged by contacting the office.

Bible Study
Our Wednesday Bible Study meets at 1:00 PM in the Martinsville office at First Baptist Church. Gatherings are intentionally small and relational, fostering an environment where individuals can ask questions, grow in faith, and build meaningful relationships.
No prior knowledge or experience is required — all are welcome.

Morning & Evening Prayer
The Daily Office anchors our community in regular, structured prayer drawn from the Anglican tradition. Morning Prayer (9:30 AM) and Evening Prayer (4:30 PM) are celebrated each Wednesday and live streamed on Facebook.
These brief services of scripture, canticle, and prayer are open to all and can be joined online from anywhere.

Community Outreach
A defining characteristic of our ministry is our commitment to serving people who experience social and economic marginalization — including individuals facing housing insecurity, poverty, or social isolation.
We emphasize hospitality, dignity, and authentic human connection as essential expressions of Christian faith. Through pastoral presence and shared community life, we seek to embody Christ’s commandment to “love one another.”
In addition to regular liturgy and Bible study, we offer opportunities for prayer and spiritual formation throughout the week. We encourage members to deepen their faith through the regular use of the Daily Office, lectio divina, and personal prayer.
Speak with Fr. Mychal Joseph Gallop or Kato Padgett to learn more about spiritual direction and formation resources.
