A Ministry Built on Collaboration

Saint Cleophas Outreach Ministry actively collaborates with local churches, community organisations, and civic partners in Martinsville and the surrounding region. These partnerships strengthen our ability to serve the community while fostering unity among people of faith who share a common commitment to compassion and service.

We are deeply grateful to the congregations who have opened their chapels to us, making it possible for us to gather for worship, pastoral care, and formation across Henry County and beyond.

These congregations generously provide us with space for worship and ministry. We are profoundly thankful for their hospitality and their spirit of ecumenical welcome.

Forest Park Country Club — Clubhouse Grill

The Clubhouse Grill at Forest Park Country Club supports our ministry by hosting a donations drop box on site. We are also deeply grateful for the quiet generosity of individuals there who have helped sustain our work through their own kindness.

First United Methodist Church

Through the Uptown Ministry Center, First United Methodist Church serves our neighbors with practical compassion. Their Shower Ministry, open Tuesdays from 8:00 to 11:00 AM, provides a place of dignity and care for those experiencing homelessness.

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church

Holy Trinity Lutheran Church has been a faithful friend to our ministry, offering both material support and financial gifts that help us continue our work in the community. We are thankful for their generous spirit and partnership in service.

Our Ecumenical Spirit

Saint Cleophas Outreach Ministry is a parish of the Reformed Catholic Church. Our worship is rooted in the Anglican liturgical tradition, but our mission has always extended beyond denominational lines. We believe that the unity of the Body of Christ is made visible when Christians from different traditions work together in service, prayer, and witness.

Our partnerships with congregations of other traditions — Methodist, Baptist, and others — reflect our conviction that the Emmaus story belongs to the whole Church: walking together, sharing the Word, and recognizing Christ in one another.

We welcome collaboration with any church, organisation, or individual who shares our commitment to the Gospel and to the dignity of every person.

“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.”
1 Corinthians 1:10
